The Property was acquired unentitled in January 2013 within four weeks of the deal submittal. While an previous proposal from a different company was highly contested on the subject site, Westcal secured unanimous support from the neighborhood for a plan consistent with the existing zoning. The project was financed without leverage until land development commenced. Six of the homes fronted onto Sherman Way to enhance the exterior streetscape.
